This blog is for all travel lovers written by a travel and nature lover. I have been lucky to have travelled to different countries (so far only Europe and Asia) and I have been thinking of starting a travel blog but somehow always pushed it until now!
I was 5 years old when we went on a family trip/trek to the Himalayas (Kedarnath). I still remember surrounded by a blanket of snow and was in awe looking at the gigantic and majestic snow capped peaks . Ever since then, I have always wanted to explore the world. I was lucky to have parents who are passionate about traveling. We always went on road trips to nearby destinations in South India or travelled by train, flights to the north of India. India is so vast, diverse and a beautiful country. I still have so many more places to explore in my country.
After spending 24 years of my life in Bangalore, India, I decided it was time for me to live independently and experience life in another country. The year 2013 was very significant for me as I moved to Germany for my Master studies. I landed in Frankfurt am Main airport with dreamy eyes and so many goals for my education, career and travel. Every since I set foot in Europe, all I have dreamed of was exploring new destinations and that is exactly what I have done so far and what I continue to do today.
Visiting new places, experiencing new culture, meeting new people, savouring new flavours are things I love to do. But what really gives me the goosebumps is being amongst nature. There is a quote by Ruskin Bond which says:
“It is always the same with mountains. Once you have lived with them for any length of time, you belong to them. There is no escape.” I love this quote and believe that it is true with mountains and nature in general. You just know that you belong to it!

I believe by travelling and exploring the world, one can learn so much about geography, art, architecture, history, culture, people.. The list is endless. In short it is the best way to learn about the diversity that the world offers and accept that diversity.
I love hiking, cycling and photography. I am a vegetarian and a foodie. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and find useful information. Thanks for reading.

I am signing off! It’s time to go and explore this beautiful world!
